Act as an AdvocateStrother’s work as an advocate is as broad and diverse as his professional and academic careers. He has served on the Board of International Trade Acceptance Group, the National Board of the Counselors Academy of the Public Relations Society of America and the Board of Human Development and Education for the University of Minnesota. A lifelong guitar player, Strother recently joined the board of the Minnesota Guitar Society (MGS), providing communications counsel on website, publicity and society events. Just this year, Strother was appointed to the board of The Tocqueville Center, an offspring of the Minnesota Association of Scholars dedicated to invigorating the marketplace of ideas by sponsoring debates, lectures and study groups on important current issues. |
